David Cunningham will play guitar in the Palmengarten with a selection of animal sounds, creating a parallel structure alongside the aural ecologies rather than simply an exotic decoration.

All the guitar sounds are originated live in the performance, the only prerecorded material will be
randomly sequenced animal sounds from the Grr Jamming Squeak sound library, courtesy Paola Pivi.

Silents is the live production of soundtracks for a series of films which are silent or which for the purposes of this situation can be re-soundtracked.  Historically, 'silent' films were never actually shown in silence.
